Whist Group commences 12th January 2018

Our first meeting will be on Friday 12th January 2018.

We are a recently formed group whose motto is “Playing for Pleasure”.   We welcome new members;  it doesn’t matter if you are a total beginner, only played when you were young, or play regularly. Why not join us for a fun afternoon of “Progressive Whist”? You don’t need a partner and full instructions on how to play (with some tips!) will be given.

We meet at the Catholic Church Meeting Room on the second and fourth Fridays each month from 1.30 - 3.30pm.

At this first meeting you will meet your fellow enthusiasts and be told about finance aspects (we have to pay for room hire ourselves) and it would be helpful if you could donate a pack of cards.

Please contact Group Leader or call in at our desk at the drop-in for further information.
