Rock Music Appreciation

The Rock Music Appreciation group is relatively new, having been established in November 2019.  It meets at the group leader’s house on the third Friday afternoon of each month, 2.00pm – 4.00pm .   We listen to and talk about music recorded between the 1950s and 2020.  Each session has a particular focus.  The most recent is guitar solos.  The first was the album “Physical Graffiti” by Led Zeppelin.   We spend a lot of time trying to define what rock music actually is.   So far we’ve decided it has to have drums!  It’s a friendly, knowledgeable group, and everyone goes away having learned something.   There is always tea and cake, because we are rock and roll.
