HOW TO JOIN or RENEW
The distinctions between ‘Joining’ and ‘Renewal of Lapsed Membership’ are outlined below and have differing processes; please follow the one which is best for you:
To join, whether for the first time, or having been a member of a different UK Branch of u3a, please email Ralph Voke, the New Membership Secretary on: newmemberpdu3a@gmail.com. He will contact you to organise the application.
If preferred, however, you can also join in person at one of the advertised Drop-In sessions.
Membership fees can be paid by CHEQUE or BACS PAYMENT or, at Drop-Ins, CASH, CHEQUE or CARD PAYMENT can also be accepted.
When you have joined, you will be issued with a numbered Membership Card for the current period (until 31 March 2024). You will need to produce the card from time to time at group meetings and at the monthly Drop-Ins.
All new members are then invited to a welcome meeting, where they can meet members of the Committee, along with other new members, to ask any questions about the organisation and its many activities.
To renew your lapsed Membership for 2023-24, please email Christina Burn, the Membership Secretary, on: membershippdu3a@gmail.com. She will contact you to organise the renewal.
If preferred, however, you can also renew your membership in person at one of the advertised Drop-In sessions.
Membership fees can be paid by CHEQUE or BACS PAYMENT or, at Drop-Ins, CASH, CHEQUE or CARD PAYMENT can also be accepted.
When your Membership renewal is complete, the Membership Secretary will issue a new Membership Card for the current year (until 31 March 2024). You will need to produce the card from time to time at group meetings and at the monthly Drop-Ins.
NOTE: If Renewing your Membership, please do not contact the New Membership Secretary.
In February 2024 we will commence the new round of renewals for existing members, arrangements for which will be issued in January.
