Science Discussion

We are a friendly and welcoming group of 'science enthusiasts' - some of whom are retired scientists of one sort or another; some of whom simply enjoy learning about cool and interesting ideas. If you have fond memories of watching Horizon, playing with bunsen burners, and van de Graaf generators then this might well hit the spot for you. We have presentations on interesting topics, a round-up of what's new and interesting, and chance for a chat.   We meet on the afternoon of the first Friday every month, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in Allerthorpe Village Hall.
